Environmentally Friendly

  • The Product

    We source our yarn two ways: Thrift, garage, or estate sale purchases of yarn crafted clothing; or generous donations of yarn. We then put in the work to dismantle the clothing so that it has a chance to find new life as your newest project.

  • The Package

    In keeping with our sustainable commitment, we decided to use cloth to shroud the yarn until you are ready to open it. The cloth is sourced the same way the yarn is and then cut down to the size we need. Additionally, the packaging we ship in is biodegradable.

  • The Commitment

    At SustainaBall Yarn we are committed to keeping as much as we can out of landfills and all the other places discarded items end up. While our impact may not be huge, it is most definitely meaningful. We hope to encourage a culture of creative reuse.
